Zoo TV at the Nyíregyháza Zoo
The Nyíregyháza Zoo considers it an important mission to spread knowledge about wildlife and nature, to form an environmentally conscious approach, and to provide close-to-nature programs, but instead of face-to-face meetings, the zoo had to adapt to the pandemic situation. Using online platforms, we were able to conjure a zoo into people’s homes while the zoo was temporarily closed.
In addition to more news than usual and live check-ins, ZOO Tv also started broadcasting, wherein 3-4 minute broadcasts the experts presented 1-1 species to the interested viewers and other times they gave a glimpse behind the scenes, be it to the zoo’s daily life or our rhinoceros transfer.
ZOO TV episodes are also available on the Zoo's youtube channel, facebook and instagram pages.
Due to the great interest and a lot of positive feedback, the publication of new episodes will continue even after reopening.
