The lion family becomes bigger every year at springtime since our male lion always meets his engagement.
This year, we looked forward to the cub to be born with anxiety because the coltish Kiara was in gestation period. Two years before this, Kiara had played so intensively with her cub that she had broken its hindleg and one zookeeper had had to rear during its recovery and only after healing it could have gone back to the family.
The gestation period and the labour of Kiara happened without any complication. Our anxiety was also unnecessary because it seems that Kiara has become serious during the years and she plays gently with her cub.
