The Nyíregyháza Zoo’s exhibition named „Don’t buy it – Protect it” is mostly focused on the illegal trade of exotic animals, and besides the information panels visitors can see different animal derivatives. We got them from the Hungarian Customs and Finance Guard for presentation purposes.
Besides the spring and summer time we talk about ’pet trade’ during the bird shows and also during group leaderships for primary school students we talk about responsible animal care and discuss about the exotic animals visitors „given away” to us.
