The awards of significant architectural creations of the previous year were given in the GERBAUD House in Budapest, Hungary.
The Green Pyramid of Sosto Zoo won the Special prize of Hungarian Chamber of Architects (designer: Attila Gáva, construction company: Kevíz 21 Zrt.) due to its special architectural solutions, unique atmosphere and the mission to create a high-standard attraction in this relatively poor region.
With the implementation of the Green Pyramid, the aim was achieved: there is a special touristic spectacle in the Eastern region of Hungary, in Nyíregyháza, which is unique in this country and attracts a great number of tourists not only from Hungary but also from the surrounding countries.
